College of Education
In 1953, the Department of Education opened offering a professional program designed to prepare individuals for a variety of careers in the field of education. To meet the increasing needs for middle school teachers, the College of Education was established in 1972, merging all education departments of SKKU
The goal of the College of Education is to cultivate competent secondary teachers and education specialists with the mental fortitude, interpersonal understanding and physical strength to train the generation of tomorrow. In this way, the College of Education provides a variety of courses such as pedagogical theories and practical methodologies which are required in secondary education.
The College of Education contributes to middle-class education development in Korea. Consistently ranked as one of the best in its field, the College of Education has produced more than 3,000 secondary school teachers and education experts.
