[2026 Fall Undergraduate Freshmen Admission Guide] 1. Updates (as of Feb. 03, 2026) ○ Expansion and EstabIishment of EngIish-Track Admission Units - Expansion : ChemicaI Engineering, Advanced MateriaIs Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Nano Engineering (Major-reserved, Engineering) - EstabIishment : Human Science and Society (Department) -> Please refer to the attached file, “Introduction_Human Science & Society,” for information about the department ○ Addition of a New Personal Statement Question - Applicants applying to Theatre, Computer Science and Engineering, or Sport Science admission units who wish to submit a personal statement must complete the newly added Question 3. AppIicants applying to all other admission units may freely choose and complete one question from Questions 1 through 3. ※ Refer to the attached addmission guide for more details 2. Notes for Korean Track 1) Additional methods of proving Korean language proficiency - Accepting the submission of certificates and transcripts for completion of Korean language courses at other Korean language institutes at Korean universities as well as Sungkyun Language Institute(SLI) as qualification - Graduation (expected) who have completed the entire course (high school 1st to 3rd grade, Grade 10-12) at a high school located in Korea are exempted from submitting TOPIK - Accepting the submission of original copy of Korean language course completion certificate from King Sejong Institute(excluding online course completion) 2) Preliminary Admission offer - if you are a Korean track applicant who has failed to meet the requirements regarding Korean language proficiency, you may have the option to be provided with 'preliminary admission offer' with excellent results of document evaluation in other fields excluding Korean language proficiency - When candidate with 'Preliminary admission offer' re-applies to the SAME admission unit after acquiring TOPIK(Includes TOPIK IBT) level 4 or above or completing Korean course of level 4 or above at Sungkyun Language Institute within two years, he/she shall be offered an unconditional offer to the next available intake. ※ If the candidate reapply for majors or admission units that varies from his/her Preliminary admission offer, the offer would be canceled automatically - In case of preliminary admission, the documents(regarding nationality document, family relationship certificate, language proficiency document, etc.), excluding academic background documents and other activities evidences, must be resubmitted as of the time of reapplication. 3) Additional submission of TOPIK score reports is allowed - However, all other required documents except for the TOPIK score report must be submitted by the deadline. ※ 1st Round: Only additional TOPIK score reports received by April 12, 2026 (Sunday) will be accepted.※ 2nd Round: Only additional TOPIK score reports received by July 5, 2026 (Sunday) will be accepted. (However, applicants who wish to submit the 105th TOPIK PBT score report are advised to apply after the score announcement.) 3.
