Apply for the student visa(D-2) at the Korean Embassy at the nearest residential area.

[Others] How I can apply for Chinese Student’s visa.
- From March 1st 2015, Chinese students of Sungkyunkwan University do not have to submit 「Visa Number. Chinese students need to apply for the student visa(D-2) at the Korean Embassy in China at the nearest residential area.

- The students currently staying in Korea but who are scheduled to return to China and come back to Korea in next year.

- Orientation for Newly Accepted Students will be held at the beginning of the semester and will provide information on course registration, academic schedule guide, campus life and stay in Korea. It is mandatory to attend and the school is not responsible for disadvantages caused by your absence.
[Academics] SKKU offers many English taught courses. Can I finish my undergraduate program by taking the English taught courses only?
- All lectures in the Division of International Studies and 70% of the lectures in the Business School are provided in English. Therefore, those who apply for either international studies or business studies can graduate by taking the English-taught lectures only.
However, it is difficult to graduate by taking English-taught lectures only in the remaining departments. It is recommended that international students have an intermediate or higher level of Korean language proficiency.
Except the students of the Division of International Studies, it is mandatory that all international students obtain TOPIK Level 4 or higher before graduation.
[Campus Life] Do I need any documents when I enter the dormitory?
- All students who decide to live in the dormitory regardless of their nationality should submit tuberculosis medical report.

[Admission] Should all documents be original?
- It is a principle that all documents should be original. In case that you need to submit the copied one, please get the notarization by government office or bring the original document with you to get a stamp after compared with the original from the school.
[Admission] I passed high school qualification exam of Korea. Can I apply?
- When it is proved that you have the same academic background as high school graduates according to the law, you may apply.
